The department of prosthodontics offers several treatment options and services to restore the natural appearance and function of a person’s mouth, jaw and smile. A range of prosthesis from removable to fixed rehabilitation are provided which include crowns, bridges, cast restorations, dental implants, aesthetic restorations and rehabilitation after oral cancer, trauma or birth defects. The department is fully equipped to treat patients with orofacial pain disorders.

The department is a major service to patients from Mardan and surrounding areas. Apart from being an academic contribution to the field, it provides excellent clinical facility to community. The Department is functional in morning and evening in the form of IBP clinics.


 Junior prosthodontics to 2nd year BDS students.

 Removable partial dentures clinical skills to 3rd year BDS students.

 Theoretical and clinical skills to final year BDS students.

 Overall patient management and interdisciplinary approach practice for house officers.

 Four year Post graduate training (FCPS) .
